GVSU’s steady growth over many years has resulted in the need for a variety of new facilities on the Allendale Campus. The new University Marketplace provides the campus with a new bookstore and food court.
Planning for the Marketplace recognized its role as a major campus destination and focal point for student life. Its location provides a much higher degree of visibility and awareness of the bookstore for students and visitors alike. The Marketplace design features distinctive architecture that lends an individual identity to the facility while being sympathetic to the campus context. The food court provides customers and students a gathering place for student study and socialization.
