Western Michigan University | Sangren Hall

Western Michigan University’s new Sangren Hall building and site project replaced the original 1964 building and adjacent campus parking areas. The site project introduced new outdoor plazas where Michigan Avenue used to intersect the campus, pedestrian walkways, and parking facilities. The site engineering design included water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utility design and grading; demolition and phasing plans; stormwater management; duct banks; site lighting; and fountain utility design. Fishbeck prepared construction drawings, permit applications, and contract specifications, as well as topographic survey and LEED documentation.
