Computerized Office Technician Certification
and Re-Certification

2017 Dates and Locations

Courses will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. 

 

FTCH reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a course if minimum sign-up numbers are not met. If minimum registration is not met, this class will be canceled and rescheduled. If this occurs you will be notified one week in advance.

5-DAY TRAINING COURSE

COURSE FEE $1,390.00
5-Day Course, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
A light breakfast and snacks will be provided. There will be a 1 hour lunch break. Lunch is NOT provided.

Materials and Requirements for the course:

  • It is strongly recommended that registrants have taken FieldManager training prior to the certification course. Basic Proficiency in FieldBook/FieldManager is required.
  • Familiarity and proficiency in computer usage in the Windows environment.
  • A laptop computer with FieldManager version 5.1 and the most current version of Adobe Acrobat installed.
  • Registrants must have a "Standalone" FieldManager data source on your laptop for the course.
  • MDOT 2012 Standard Specifications for Construction.
  • Recommended (calculator, highlighter, and sticky notes).

Final exam and certificates will be given on last day of course. 
Registrants must have passing quiz scores and pass the final exam to obtain certification.

February 6-10, 2017 - Grand Rapids

February 27-March 3, 2017 - Lansing

 

1-DAY RE-CERTIFICATION EXAM

COURSE FEE $235.00
1 Day Exam Only, 10:00 a.m. (exam will take approximately 4 hours, maximum time allowed 7 hours).
There will be a 1 hour lunch break. Lunch is NOT provided.

Materials and Requirements for the course:

  • A current Computerized Office Technician certification.
  • Actively working as an Office Technician.
  • MDOT 2012 Standard Specifications for Construction.
  • Recommended (calculator, highlighter, and sticky notes).

Registrants must pass the exam to obtain certification.
