Muskegon Heights Water Treatment Plant Expansion
The City of Muskegon Heights needed additional water supply and treatment capacity to serve its growing customer base. FTCH was retained to design a plant expansion that included renovation of existing 60-year-old filters.
FTCH evaluated alternatives for upgrading and expanding the plant and a conventional expansion matching the existing treatment processes was planned. The capacity of the plant was to be expanded for a total of 25.2 MGD and allocated for future expansion.
