Gerald R. Ford International Airport
Fire and Rescue Facility

The Gerald R. Ford International Airport needed improved and additional space for their Air Rescue and Fire Fighting facilities.

Comprehensive renovations were planned for this existing 22,500-sf facility which housed both the Vehicle Maintenance and the Air Rescue and Fire Fighting operations. • Space for an expanded number of vehicles
  • Drive-through fill bay
  • Drive-through wash bay
  • Eight bunk rooms with triple occupancy for 24-hour-a-day operation
  • Communications room
  • Training area
  • Day rooms
  • Fitness area
  • Multipurpose room
  • Chief’s office
  • A.O.C. area
  • Onsite remodeled fueling station
