FTC&H Board of Directors is Pleased to Announce Senior-level Architectural and Engineering Promotions

FTC&H is pleased to announce the promotions of Jeffery N. Montague, AIA, LEED ® ; Accredited Professional (AP); James W. Foster, P.E.; Susan L. Kuieck, P.E.; and Michelle C. Lazar, P.E. to senior level positions.

Jefferey N. Montague, AIA, LEED ® AP, holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado. He earned his architectural license in Colorado and Michigan in 2002. Some of the projects he has been involved with include design the new Ottawa County Courthouse in Grand Haven, the X-Rite World Headquarters in Kentwood, and Priority Health in Grand Rapids. Mr. Montague is a LEED ® AP, and is a member of the Grand Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and the Gaslight Village Business Association.

James W. Foster, P.E., has a Civil Engineering degree from Michigan Technological University and became a Professional Engineer (PE) in 2003. He has a variety of project experience including projects for Michigan State University, Ingham County Drain Comissioner's Tollgate Drain, Delta Township Library, and several big box and industrial park site developments. He is currently involved in projects with the City of Grand Ledge and has been integrally involved with many Local Development Financing Authority (LDFA), Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Planning Department, and Department of Public Works projects.

Susan L. Kuieck, P.E., received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan. Her project experience includes dispersion modeling, permits to install, best available control technology (BACT) analysis, and assisting with enforcement issues for various other clients. She has recently completed the performance of dispersion modeling for the installation of an EES Coke Battery, located down river from Detroit at Zug Island. She also manages the annual air quality programs for several clients.

Michelle C. Lazar, holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and earned her Professional Engineering (PE) license in 1988. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Penn State University. Some of her recent projects include land cover analysis, such as using the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Impervious Surface Analysis Tool for the St. Clair County Health Department Anchor Bay Watershed and the Conservation Fund Kawkawlin River Watershed. She is continually involved in IMAGIN (Improving Michigan's Access to Geographic Information Networks) where she attends events and gives presentations.
